TechTalk provides message distribution and notification by automating work request information for field personnel in service arenas.

TechTalk uses the following capabilities:

  • Outbound voice calls
  • Instant Messaging
  • Numeric, alphanumeric, and two-way pages
  • E-mail
  • Fax

Once field personnel are contacted, they can accept, deny, or respond to work requests. TechTalk manages the escalation process, determines how to notify personnel, and implements notification if a procedure is unsuccessful.

Notifications can be directed to unique addresses or to multiple locations simultaneously. The host system may contain personnel databases, dispatch systems, customer care systems, or other types of contact related applications. TechTalk's Application Program Interface (API) enables paging, faxing, and messaging codes to be sent and received from the host. Its reporting capabilities also provide users with the ability to generate reports.
