New Executives Bring Domain Experience to Ateb
Raleigh, NC, August 11, 2002 - Ateb, Inc. welcomes
two new executives, Dennis DiVenuta and Patrick Gavin, who will
bring additional business development and pharmacy experience
that addresses the growth and regulatory advancements of pharmacy,
technology, and telecommunications.
Dennis DiVenuta joins Ateb, Inc. as President. Mr. DiVenuta
will focus on developing a scalable business model that will support
Ateb's growth. DiVenuta states, "Ateb is approaching an exciting
transition to a rapid growth phase in the business life cycle.
I look forward to presenting our value proposition to some of
the country's most significant retail, telecommunications, and
technology companies."
Trained as an attorney with specific focus on corporate and
merger/acquisition issues, Mr. DiVenuta spent twenty years representing
technology, wholesale food and beverage, and health care concerns.
He worked for six years as corporate General Counsel and Senior
Vice President for Corporate Development for a large technology-consulting
organization. Mr. DiVenuta also served as Director of Human Resources
for a multinational technology firm and spent the last ten years
collaborating in the development of several technology solutions.
Patrick Gavin serves as Senior Vice President of Pharmacy
Relations and Chief Privacy Officer. Mr. Gavin will use his operational
and HIPAA expertise to enhance Ateb's substantial experience in
the world of retail pharmacy. "I am excited about joining Ateb.
I have been a customer of Ateb for many years and admire the talent
of their people. They have a history of delivering quality technology
to their customers on time," says Gavin.
Prior
to joining Ateb, Mr. Gavin was in charge of pharmacy operations
as Vice President of Pharmacy for Meijer. He has over 30 years
of experience in leadership of retail pharmacy operations and
is a respected industry lecturer. Mr. Gavin is also a member of
the American Pharmaceutical Association and the Michigan Pharmacists'
Association. He currently serves as Chairman of the Ferris State
University College of Pharmacy Advisory Board.
